Karyn Buckland

Her passion is working with patients to complement their medical treatment through dietary intervention to improve their quality of life and overall health.

More recently she has worked closely with gastroenterologists to support patients with ongoing gastrointestinal issues, focusing on dietary modification to improve symptoms.

Following graduating from Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2019 with a first class honours degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Karyn has been working as a clinical Dietitian within the NHS.

She is currently working as a specialist Dietitian and has been fortunate to have experienced a wide variety of clinical areas, such as Surgery, Cardiac, Oncology, Gastroenterology and is currently in a Hepatology and Nephrology role.

She is registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a full British Dietetic Association (BDA) member, and an active committee member of the South East BDA branch.

In her spare time she enjoys playing netball and tennis, jumping on the paddle board in the summer, and is always looking to plan her next trip away!
